About
We’re delighted to announce that…
Hewing Wittare will be part of Ruth Batham’s solo exhibition To Each Her Own, at Lansdown Gallery (@lansdownhall) in Stroud, running from 20-24 November 2024. This exhibition beautifully explores the journey into motherhood and will be open daily from 10am to 4pm, with a special late start at 11:30am on the opening day, Wednesday, 20 November. Visitors will experience a range of creative and reflective activities throughout the week, including our own workshop, Shared Spaces: A Collaborative Workshop with Hewing Wittare, on Saturday, 23 November.
We’re offering the option of two sessions from 10am-12pm or 2pm-4pm where we invite young people and their parent(s)/caregiver(s) into this hands-on session to work together, exploring creative ways to tackle challenges. We’ll provide all materials, and the event is free to attend. To book, email us at hewingwittare@gmail.com, and be sure to follow us on Instagram @hewing_wittare.
Ruth (@ruthbatham) has curated an inspiring program of events, including Happy Birth Days by Ellie Shipman (@ellieshipman) on Wednesday, 20 November, and Maternal Journal with Athene Greig (@athenekgreig and @maternaljrnlstroud) on Thursday, 21 November. The exhibition concludes with Sam’s Crit X, hosted by Sam Marsh (@open.my.studio) on Sunday, 24 November.
