Founded in 2016 by Georgie White and Alex Winter, HEWING WITTARE is a platform to showcase emerging artists in experimental spaces.

HEWING WITTARE looks to develop each artist's practice and give unique opportunities to exhibit their work.

We identified the need to give artists a platform to exhibit and show their work in an increasingly challenging city to practice in. Our shows will be majority female led to increase the profile of women in the art world.

HEWING WITTARE seek to forge relationships with local organisations and talented artists who care about their future.

We are also sustainably aware, and develop art shows that have a low impact on the environment whilst working with artists who consider this in their practice too.

It is important to HEWING WITTARE that artwork is seen by everyone and not just the small art world.
